MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202421020997 A) filed by Panasonic Life Solutions India Private Limited, Thane, Maharashtra, on March 20, 2024, for 'adaptable cover plate for switch regulator assembly.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A switch regulator assembly (100) is disclosed. The switch regulator assembly (100) includes a base plate (114) having side covers (102-1, 102-2) attached on either side of the base plate (114). The base plate (114) has one or more recesses (116) and one or more protrusions (118). A regulator assembly (122), disposed within the base plate (114), has a shaft (130) that is adapted to receive a knob (110). A cover plate (104) snapped over the base plate (114). The cover plate (104) has a slotted section (138) that is adapted to facilitate connection of the shaft (130) with the knob (110). The cover plate (104) has one or more snaps (140) protruding orthogonally to the surface of the cover plate (104). The one or more recesses (116) are adapted to receive the one or more snaps (140) to attach the cover plate (104) onto the base plate (114)."
