MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411025631 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 28, 2024, for 'adaptable concrete-pouring assistive system.'
Inventor(s) include Arun Kumar Giri; Jitendra Kumar Saini; Jayanta Kumar Mahato; and Esheta.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 21, under issue no. 47/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable concrete-pouring assistive system, comprising a framework 1 developed to be installed on an agitator truck 2, touch interactive display panel 3 is integrated in the framework 1 for enabling a user to activate/deactivate the system, a mixer drum 4 arranged in the framework 1 and positioned on the truck, an ultrasonic sensor is positioned in the mixer drum 4 to determine presence of a concrete mixture, a hydraulic motor 5 integrated in the framework 1 for providing rotating movement, a rotatable shaft 6 having plurality of blades 7 arranged in the framework 1 and integrated on center axis of the drum, a DC motor 8 arranged with the shaft to provide rotational movement, plurality of flaps 9 arranged on inner periphery of the drum to aid in stirring of mixture, flaps 9 are integrated with a motorized hinge joint 10 to change orientation of the flaps 9."
