MUMBAI, India, April 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441076688 A) filed by JAIN, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Oct. 9, 2024, for 'adaptable commodities bracing device for refrigerators.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable commodities bracing device for refrigerators, comprising a plate 1 developed to be installed on shelf of a refrigerator, a pair of motorized clamping units 5 are integrated underneath the plate 1, an imaging unit 7 installed on the plate 1 to determine location and dimensions of the stored commodity on the shelf, a flap 3 arranged on the plate 1 by means of a motorized dual axis slider 2 to translate the flap 3 over the plate 1, a curved structure 4 arranged on the flap 3 and integrated with multiple motorized hinges 6 to extend and tilt portions of the structure 4 for covering the commodity, a telescopically operated L-shaped bar is arranged on the plate 1 for establishing a cover integrated on the bar on front portion of the stored commodity."
