MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411025569 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 28, 2024, for 'adaptable cloth dry cleaning device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable cloth dry cleaning device comprises a top-open body 1 configured with plurality of motorized clamps 2 accessed by a user for accommodating a cloth over which dry cleaning is to be performed, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 3 determine dimensions of the accommodated cloth, a color sensor integrated on the body 1 for determining stain on the cloth, a telescopically operated L-shaped rod 4 positions an electronically controlled nozzle 5 integrated on the rod over the stain, a multi-sectioned chamber 6 arranged in the body 1 and configured with a pump to pump a cleaning agents, a motorized gripper 7 is integrated on the body 1 to position a brush 8 integrated on the gripper 7 over the stain in order to rub the stain, and plurality of suction units 9 integrated on the brush 8 to extract the removed dirt from the stain."
