MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411023508 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 25, 2024, for 'adaptable bedding assistive system.'

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable bedding assistive system, comprising a body 1 developed to be positioned on a ground surface of a premises, a touch interactive display panel 2 installed on the body 1 for enabling a user to provide input commands, a pair of robotic grippers 3 installed on the body 1 to acquire a grip on linen-sets, a frame 4 associated with the system installed with a pair of motorized clamps 5 to grab the extracted linen-sets for positioning the sets in a tray 6 arranged in the frame 4 and an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 7 installed on the frame 4 to monitor said position of the beds."
