MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411003700 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 18, 2024, for 'adaptable ambience-based decorative device.'

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to an adaptable ambience-based decorative device, comprising a cylindrical frame 1 suspended from ceiling of an enclosure by means of a hook 2, an imaging unit configured with the frame 1 for determining enclosure dimension and people present in the enclosure, plurality of telescopically operated hollow rods 3 having first and second portion arranged on frame 1, wherein a motorized roller 4 coiled with a LED (Light Emitting Diode) strip 5 attached on first end gets extended/retracted via the rods 3 to cover the length of the enclosure, an LDR 10 assembled on frame 1 for monitoring light intensity, a temperature sensor 6 assembled on frame 1 for monitoring surrounding temperature, multiple motorized bearings 7 integrated in between frame 1 and hook 2 for rotating the frame 1 to allow air circulation for lowering the temperature."
