MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441007813 A) filed by Jain, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 5, 2024, for 'adaptable advertisement displaying device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. M. John Basha.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable advertisement displaying device, comprising a platform 1 positioned on ground surface near a shop, a push button 2 is pressed by a shop owner to initiate device, a camera 3 mounted on platform 1 to detect presence of pedestrian around platform 1, a telescopic shaft 4 attached at top of platform 1 by a hinge for continuously waving shaft 4 for attracting attention of pedestrians, four flaps 5 arranged on shaft 4 by a ball and socket joint 6 and each installed with a display panel 10 for displaying menu available in shop whose playback speed is regulated according to walking speed of pedestrians as detected by a speed gun, an anemometer 7 detects wind speed and accordingly flaps 5 are deployed horizontally for preventing damage to panel 10, and a temperature sensor monitors temperature of surrounding and based on which displays suitable beverages on each panel 10."
