MUMBAI, India, March 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517130014 A) filed by Shenzhen Shokz Co. Ltd., Guangdong, China, on Dec. 22, 2025, for 'acoustic device.'
Inventor(s) include Liang, Jianing; and Zhang, Lei.
The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present description relates to an acoustic device, comprising a sound production part and a suspension structure. In a wearing state, a sound hole is provided in an inner side surface of a sound production part housing, and pressure relief holes are provided in other side surfaces thereof. On a reference plane parallel to or tangent to the side surface where an effective vent port of each pressure relief hole is located, the effective vent port of the pressure relief hole has a first projection, and the sound hole has a second projection. Each first projection defines a plurality of mutually parallel first characteristic line segments which are perpendicular to the inner side surface and each have both ends located on the outline of the first projection. The endpoint of two endpoints of any first characteristic line segment that is farther from the second projection is a reference point, the multiple reference points comprising first reference points and second reference points, and the distance from any first reference point to the second projection being less than the distance from any second reference point to the second projection. The plurality of first characteristic line segments comprises first sub-line segments passing through the first reference points and second sub-line segments passing through the second reference points, first lengths of the first sub-line segments being less than second lengths of the second sub-line segments."
The patent application was internationally filed on Aug. 22, 2024, under International application No.PCT/CN2024/114043.
