Inventor(s) include Kishida, Akira; Nagata, Kengo; Asai, Yusuke; and Takatori, Yasushi.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 21, under issue no. 47/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An access point according to an embodiment includes a communication circuit and a processor. The communication circuit uses a plurality of subcarriers to transmit and receive wireless signals. The processor uses the communication circuit to establish links with a plurality of wireless terminal devices. The processor groups the plurality of subcarriers and sets a plurality of units including a first unit associated with low latency traffic and a second unit associated with other traffic. When low latency traffic occurs, the processor checks a communication state of the second unit, and if first traffic in a downlink direction is being transmitted using the second unit, uses the first unit to transmit the low latency traffic in parallel with the transmission of the first traffic, and if second traffic in an uplink direction is being received using the second unit, uses the first unit to transmit the low latency traffic either during a standby period of the transmission of the second traffic or after the reception of the second traffic is complete."

The patent application was internationally filed on Apr. 14, 2023, under International application No.PCT/JP2023/015173.
