MUMBAI, India, April 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411071411 A) filed by Jaipur Engineering College And Research Centre, Jaipur, Rajasthan, on Sept. 20, 2024, for 'academic question solving management system for educational institutions.'

Inventor(s) include B. Umamaheswari; Priyanka Mitra; Hemant Kumar Garg; Divit Rajawat; Khushi Khandelwal; and Kanika Munshi.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An academic question solving management system for educational institutions, comprising an L-shaped frame 101 installed within each classroom configured with a platform 201 to be placed with a paper/book written with a question, a display panel 202 installed on the frame 101 for enabling the student's input commands, a pair of motorized sliders 204 arranged on the platform 201 for translating a pair of motorized clamps 205 attached with the sliders 204 for gripping the paper/book, an imaging unit 206 mounted on a plate for detecting the question written on the paper/book, a holographic projection unit 102 mounted within the classrooms for projecting the detected questions, plurality of camera 104 mounted within he classrooms for detecting the student who first rose hand and a laser projection unit 105 mounted within the classrooms for projecting laser beam towards the detected student."
