MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411017256 A) filed by Uno Minda Limited, Gurgaon, Haryana, on March 11, 2024, for 'a wireless power transmitting device with a cooling system.'
Inventor(s) include Mane, Rohan Hanmantrao; Khalate, Aniket Hindurao; and Kodambal, Chetan Kumar.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A system (500) for simultaneously cooling a wireless charging unit (100) and a portable device (10), in a vehicle, is disclosed. The system (500) includes a cooling fan (70) mountable to a portion of the wireless charging unit (100). Further, system (500) includes a duct (80) mountable over the wireless charging unit (100). The duct (80) is defined with an opening (85) to accommodate the cooling fan (70), wherein the duct (80) is defined with an involute geometry (81) and comprises an exit vent (82) extending in a vertical direction to channelize cool air generated by the cooling fan (70) from the duct (80) towards the portable device (10) to simultaneously cool the wireless charging unit (100) and the portable device (10)."
