MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521128935 A) filed by Symbiosis International, Pune, Maharashtra, on Dec. 18, 2025, for 'a web-based digital pathology museum system.'

The system comprises: a student interface (101) providing a personalized dashboard displaying recently viewed specimens, bookmarks, and notes; a specimen display module (102) presenting high-resolution images, rotatable 3D models, audio narrations, and video demonstrations; a discussion and collaboration module (103) enabling threaded queries and real-time interactions; a bookmarking and notes module (104) allowing students to save specimens and attach personal notes; an admin panel (105) for managing specimens, filters, and queries; and a secure role-based access control with authentication. The system runs on a MERN stack (106) and supports interactive, immersive, and personalized learning experiences. A method for accessing specimens and multimedia content is also provided."
