MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411006502 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 31, 2024, for 'a wakeup alarm and a method therof.'

Further, a voice recognition module (110) configured to analyse and interpret captured words to identify a user's stated wake-up reason. Further a speaker (106) for playing alarm (100) sounds and audio feedback. Further, a processor (108) operatively connected to the voice interaction unit (102), and the processor (108) is configured to imply a triple verification mechanism, requiring the user to repeat their stated wake-up reason at least three times for deactivating the voice interaction unit (102), thereby promoting full alertness and discouraging repetitive snoozing."
