MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411016575 A) filed by Maruti Suzuki India Ltd., New Delhi, on March 7, 2024, for 'a ventilator cover for a ventilator of a vehicle.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A ventilator cover (100) for a ventilator of a vehicle is disclosed. The ventilator cover (100) comprises a first surface (102), a second surface (104), and a lower surface (106). The first surface (102) is configured to enclose the ventilator. A plurality of ducts (107) is defined on the second surface (104) of the ventilator cover (100). A plurality of louvers (108) is disposed on the plurality of ducts (107). The plurality of louvers (108) is configured to prevent entry of water splashes through the plurality of ducts (107) into the ventilator cover (100). The second surface (104) of the ventilator cover (100) is inclined away from the first surface (102) to facilitate downward water flow, thereby inhibiting water from entering the plurality of ducts (107)."
