According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "User friendly adaptive hammer User friendly hammer has been invented in the present invention. The adaptive hammer comprises of a head of hammer (101) welded to an elongated handle (102), which accommodates storage unit (107). The combination of slits-cross slit (201), a magnet fixed in it and extended the metal piece (203) on the head of hammer, holds the nail such that it is not required to hold it by fingers or thumb, which eliminates the hurting incidences caused while hammering nails. The head of A box socket holder working as close spanner, with arrangement of replaceable sockets. Additionally, the adaptive hammer is equipped with protractor for measuring angle and a ruler for measuring length. The adaptive hammer comprises of magnetic screw driver socket (108) attached perpendicularly above the hammer head. The present invention provides easy tool for the carpenter professional and eliminates the injury occurring due to other traditional hammers."
