Inventor(s) include Payas Arora; and Deepti M Sati.
The application for the patent was published on Jan. 23, under issue no. 04/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention discloses a multi-layer transdermal patch (100) designed for controlled administration of multiple drugs through discrete reservoirs (101, 102). Each reservoir is coupled with an independent diffusion membrane (103) enabling programmable release profiles. A permeation enhancement layer (104), adhesive interface (105), and occlusive backing layer (106) facilitate efficient dermal absorption, structural integrity, and user comfort. Optional micro-channels (108) and a microcontroller film (110) allow sequential or time-gated delivery, providing a versatile, stable, and precise multi-drug transdermal system."
