MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411027423 A) filed by Mahindra & Mahindra Limited, Mohali, Punjab, on April 2, 2024, for 'a toolbox assembly for a vehicle and a method of providing the toolbox assembly.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The disclosure herein relates to a toolbox assembly (100) for an agricultural vehicle (10) and a method (300) of providing the toolbox assembly (100). The toolbox assembly (100) includes a first casing (102), a second casing (104), and a mounting bracket (112). The first casing (102) is affixed to vehicular structure (12) of the vehicle (10). The second casing (104) is removably connected to first casing (102). The toolbox assembly (100) is positioned adjacent to an operator seat (14) of vehicle (10). The toolbox assembly (100) is affixed to vehicular structure (12) to restrict vibration transferred from toolbox assembly (100) to operator seat (14). The toolbox assembly (100) is easily accessible by the operator of the vehicle (10) and enables portability of tools as the second casing (104) can be used as portable storage casing."
