MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411004095 A) filed by Hero Motocorp Limited, New Delhi, on Jan. 20, 2024, for 'a three-wheeled vehicle.'
Inventor(s) include Choudhary, Deepak; Patel, Sunil Nanjibhai; and Dwivedi, Satyendra Dhar.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A three-wheeled vehicle (100) with a power distribution unit (PDU) (210) positioned at a common location suitable for both three-wheeled cargo and passenger vehicles is disclosed. A body frame (202) of the three-wheeled vehicle (100) has a left frame member (204), a right frame member (206), and a cross frame member (208) connecting the left frame member (204) with the right frame member (206) in a rear portion (104A) of the three-wheeled vehicle (100). The PDU (210) is mounted to the cross frame member (208). The plurality of batteries (212) is electrically connected to the power distribution unit (210) and mounted to the body frame (202) in one of a frontward and a rearward direction of the PDU (210). The power unit (214) is electrically connected to the PDU (210) and mounted to the body frame (202) in a sideward direction of the PDU (210)."
