MUMBAI, India, Feb. 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611000571 A) filed by Baba Farid College Of Engineering And Technology; and Baba Farid College, Bathinda, Punjab, on Jan. 3, for 'a thermoelectric floor heating tile panel system.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed system (100) comprises a tile body (102) defining an upper load-bearing surface and a lower surface. Further, the system (100) comprises at least one thermoelectric module array (104) disposed within the tile body (102), the thermoelectric module array (104) comprising a plurality of thermoelectric modules arranged in a predefined spatial distribution. Further, the system (100) comprises a heat spreading layer (106) disposed between the upper load-bearing surface of the tile body (102) and the thermoelectric module array (104). Further, the system (100) comprises a thermal insulation layer (108) disposed adjacent to the lower surface of the tile body (102). Further, the system (100) comprises an electrical interconnection interface (110) operatively coupled to the thermoelectric module array (104). Further, the system (100) comprises a control unit (112) operatively coupled to the thermoelectric module array (104) and the electrical interconnection interface (110)."
