MUMBAI, India, June 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202341018918 A) filed by Heavy Vehicle Factory, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on March 20, 2023, for 'a testing apparatus for battle tank electrical components and method thereof.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a testing apparatus for testing battle tank electrical components, comprising: a frame (1); a motor base (25); a motor (20) is fitted in the motor base (25); a driving pulley (12); a driven pulley (4); a drive belt (28); a shaft (6); a starter generator (25), shaft of said starter generator (25) is detachably connected with second end of the gear (8) through a coupler; a load unit (27) connected with output of the starter generator (25) through a voltage regulator (26) and first switch (31) with a DC bus bar (32), wherein the starter generator (25) and voltage regulator (26) to be tested is connected with the load unit (27) in such a way that voltage generated in said starter generator (25) is given as input to the load unit (27) through the voltage regulator (26)."
