MUMBAI, India, July 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511061138 A) filed by Army Design Bureau, New Delhi, on June 26, for 'a testing apparatus for a targeting system.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed is a testing apparatus (100) for a targeting system (102). The testing apparatus (100) includes a base (104), a mounting portion (106), a plurality of communication cables (108), and a control unit (110). The mounting portion (106) is disposed on a top surface (104-1) of the base (104) and is adapted to detachably mount the targeting system (102) thereon. Further, the plurality of communication cables (108) is adapted to communicably couple to the targeting system (102) for testing to the control unit (110). Moreover, the control unit (110) is communicably coupled with the targeting system (102) using the plurality of communication cables (108) to perform testing on the targeting system (102). The control unit (110) may be used to test perform one or more testing operations on the targeting system (102) based on input signals received from the targeting system (102)."
