MUMBAI, India, April 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441074837 A) filed by TVS Motor Company Limited, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on Oct. 3, 2024, for 'a tail lamp assembly and a method thereof.'

The tail cover member (202) comprises at least one central opening (202C) and at least two interstitial portions (202P). The at least one central opening (202C) is configured to receive the tail lamp unit (201). The at least two interstitial portions (202P) are configured to accommodate a pillion support member (203). The tail cover member (202) is disposed within a predefined clearance. The predefined clearance is between the tail lamp unit (201), a first cover member (107A), a second cover member (107B), and the pillion support member (203) of the vehicle (100)."
