According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides a system and a method to control a vehicle operation. The system100 include a driver identification unit 101, an alcohol detection unit102, a control unit104, at least one vehicular detection unit114, a storage unit112, and a driver monitoring unit (DMU)106. The alcohol detection unit102 detects an alcohol content. The at least one vehicular detection unit114 detects a type of a terrain and an external environment condition in a vehicle vicinity. The control unit104 allows the driver to crank a vehicle when the alcohol content is within a predefined threshold limit, assess a plurality of driver profile information to determine the driving pattern. The control unit104 allows the vehicle operation in a manual mode when a safe driving pattern is identified and controls at least one vehicle function in partial or incremental manner, when an unsafe driving pattern is identified."
