MUMBAI, India, May 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621042994 A) filed by Ramdeobaba University; Shri Ramdeobaba College Of Engineering And Management; Pokle, Sanjay B; and Sarnaik, Harsh S, Nagpur, Maharashtra, on April 3, for 'a system for secure communication for a hypersonic vehicle.'

Inventor(s) include Pokle, Sanjay B; and Sarnaik, Harsh S.

The application for the patent was published on May 29, under issue no. 22/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a system (100) for secure communication for a hypersonic vehicle. The system (100) includes a transmitting unit (10), a modulation unit (20), an antenna unit (30), a receiver unit (40), a feature extraction unit (50), a machine-learning unit (60), an error correction unit (70). The transmitting unit (10) generates a chaotic carrier signal which is modulated with telemetry data by the modulation unit (20) and transmitted through the antenna unit (30). The feature extraction unit (50) is connected with the receiver unit (40) and is configured to extract statistical features including chaos residuals and Doppler characteristics from baseband signal samples corresponding to the authorized communication signal. The machine-learning unit (60) reconstructs telemetry data bits from the extracted statistical signal features using a data-driven reconstruction mechanism without employing a phase-locked loop synchronization mechanism. The error correction unit (70) corrects transmission errors to recover the telemetry data."
