MUMBAI, India, April 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411072776 A) filed by Amity University, Noida, Uttar Pradesh, on Sept. 26, 2024, for 'a system for real-time multimedia processing usingintel mmx technology and deep learning.'

Inventor(s) include Shantanu Shahi; Ajay Pratap; Sanjay Kumar Singh; and Umesh K Chopra.

The application for the patent was published on April 10, under issue no. 15/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses a system for real-time multimedia processing that integrates Intel MMX technology with advanced deep learning 5 techniques. By combining MMX, which enhances vectorized data processing, with Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), Recurrent Neural Networks (RNNs), and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) networks, the system optimizes multimedia applications for speed and efficiency. This integration allows for high-speed processing of images and videos, leveraging CNNs for 10 segmentation and extraction of multimedia information. The system addresses the limitations of traditional machine learning approaches, such as the need for extensive training data and real-time processing constraints. By incorporating MMX technology, the invention improves the performance of multimedia signal processing, enabling faster and more accurate results for 15 complex multimedia tasks."
