MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441021225 A) filed by Tvs Motor Company Limited, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on March 20, 2024, for 'a system for providing riding assistance to a rider and a method thereof.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A System for Providing Riding Assistance to a Rider and a Method thereof The present disclosure relates to a system (100) and a method (200) for providing riding assistance to a rider of a vehicle (10). The system (100) comprises one or more sensors (102) adapted to procure information pertaining to one or more operating parameters of the vehicle (10). An integrated starter generator (ISG) (104) is adapted to provide an assistive torque to the engine (106) for riding of the vehicle (10). A control unit (108) is configured to: receive the one or more operating parameters of the vehicle (10); compare the one or more operating parameters of the vehicle (10) with one or more predetermined operating conditions of the vehicle (10); and operate the ISG (104) to provide the assistive torque to the engine (106), when the one or more operating parameters of the vehicle (10) corresponds to the one or more predetermined operating conditions of the vehicle (10)."
