MUMBAI, India, July 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311077977 A) filed by Indian Council Of Agricultural Research, New Delhi, on Nov. 16, 2023, for 'a system for microbubble aeration in a closed mariculture pond.'
Inventor(s) include Divu Damodaran Nair; Rathod Bachubhai Vijay; Suresh Kumar Mojjada; Hirabhai Mepabhai Bhint; Mayur Shivdas Tade; Kuldeep Harjeevan Bhai Pungera; Ishwar Kumar Bachu Bhai Rathod; Ramesh Kumar Mojjada; and Achamveetil Gopalakrishnan.
The application for the patent was published on July 25, under issue no. 30/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to a system (100) for microbubble aeration in a closed mariculture pond. The present disclosure provides an improved system (100) for microbubble aeration diffusing which is an economic, eco-friendly, low-cost, homogeneous distribution of oxygenated water and a sustainable system that enhances the production of aquatic animals reared in the mariculture pond. Further, the present disclosure provides the configuration and installation method steps of the microbubble aeration system (100). More further, the present application also provides working of the microbubble aeration through the system (100)."
