According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a system (100) for medicine storage and emergency access embedded in a smartphone cover. The system (100) includes a smartphone cover (10), a medicine storage module (20), a storage compartment, a plurality of medication cavities (22), a storage module door (30), a thumb recess (40), a fingerprint sensor (50), a locking arrangement (60), a plurality of LED indicators (70), a passive NFC tag (80), and a fail-safe override port (90). The medicine storage module (20) is formed on a lower rear portion of the smartphone cover (10). The fingerprint sensor (50) regulates access to the storage compartment through fingerprint authentication, and the LED indicators (70) indicate whether medication is present in corresponding cavities (22). The passive NFC tag (80) provides access to medical information, and the fail-safe override port (90) permits mechanical opening during emergency conditions."
