MUMBAI, India, Feb. 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611002013 A) filed by Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab, on Jan. 8, for 'a system for manufacturing an eco-friendly flex board.'
Inventor(s) include Nitin Madan Changade.
The application for the patent was published on Feb. 13, under issue no. 07/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to an Eco-Friendly Flex Waste Recycling Board Manufacturing System (100) designed to convert shredded advertising flex waste into durable composite boards reinforced with agro-biomass fillers. The system includes a shredding unit (102) for producing flex flakes (108), a biomass feeder (104) supplying fillers (110), a mixing assembly (106), and a binder dispensing unit (112) delivering bio-resin binder (114) and catalyst (116). A compression-molding unit (118) shapes the mixture into a composite board (120) under controlled heat and pressure, followed by cooling in a compression module (128). Optional modules such as a surface finishing unit (130) and nano-coating module (132) enhance board performance. The system effectively upcycles plastic flex waste into a sustainable, wood-substitute composite material."
