MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441031866 A) filed by Reyna Lifting Equipments India Private Limited, Pudukkottai, Tamil Nadu, on April 22, 2024, for 'a system for inspection and repairing of a blade of a wind turbine.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to a system (200) for inspection and repairing of a blade (108) of a wind turbine (100), comprising a primary platform (202) and a secondary platform (208). The secondary platform (208) holds a counter weight (203) and a counter frame (206) connected to the primary platform (202) through at least one wire rope (204). The primary platform (202) lifted and maintain proximity with the blade (108), at a desired location. Further, a primary side gantry (270) and a secondary side gantry (272) adjusted to accommodate the blade (108)."
