MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411020016 A) filed by Engineers India Limited, New Delhi, on March 18, 2024, for 'a system for externally adjusting inaccessible wall tube hanger supports.'

Inventor(s) include Mandip Kapoor; Rajesh Patel; Marcus Barla; and Vibhash Mishra.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to a wall tube hanger support (15) in a fired heater (100), supported through the radiant section casing (8), supporting a set of radiant tubes (12) positioned adjacent to the radiant section casing (8). The wall tube hanger support (15) comprises a tube supporting portion (15a) configured to support the set of radiant tubes (12) and a wall mounting portion (15b) secured inside a refractory lining (10) of the radiant section casing (8) through a first set of bolts (31) and a first set of nuts (30). The radiant section casing is provided with a second set of nuts (32a, 32b) welded thereon from an outside of the fired heater and a second set of bolt (34a, 34b) is adapted to pass through the second set of nuts and the radiant section casing for lifting the lower end of the wall tube hanger support from outside."
