MUMBAI, India, Sept. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441011700 A) filed by TVS Motor Company Limited, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on Feb. 20, 2024, for 'a system for communicating information to a rider in a vehicle and a method thereof.'
Inventor(s) include Samarpita Panda; Rithika Subramanium; Sowntharya Pushparaj; Thatavarthi Prakasam Suresh; and Datta Rajaram Sagare.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 5, under issue no. 36/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a system (100) and method (200) for communicating information to a rider in a vehicle (10). The system (100) having a control unit (110) being configured to determine if the speed of the vehicle (10) is lower than or equal to a first predetermined speed for a first predetermined time period. The system (100) further having a display unit (112) being configured to display information to a rider when the control unit (110) determines that the speed of the vehicle (10) is lower than or equal to the first predetermined speed for the first predetermined time period, the displayed information being related to one or more vehicle parameters or one or more external parameters."
