Inventor(s) include Shukla, Vishal V.; and Paunikar, Arpit R.
The application for the patent was published on Feb. 13, under issue no. 07/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a system (100) for automated storage and retrieval using a multi-degree-of-freedom retrieval arm. The system (100) comprises a mobile base (20) with wheels (22) configured to provide translational and rotational movement across a storage area, a vertical mast (30) mounted on the mobile base (20), and a lifting cradle (40) mounted to travel vertically along the vertical mast (30). A rotational mechanism (50) provides rotation of the lifting cradle (40) about at least one axis. A retrieval arm (60) mounted on the lifting cradle (40) provides translational movement and rotational movement about X, Y, and Z axes. A guiding rail (66) and guiding screw rail mechanism (67) provides linear motion to a holding platform, on which at least one gripper (70) is mounted. A control system manages positioning, motion planning, and item handling for storage and retrieval operations."
