MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202431022079 A) filed by Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, New Delhi, on March 22, 2024, for 'a system for automated lubrication of inner wall of pierced billet in powdered form.'

The system comprises of an air inlet valve (102), a storage unit (104) for powdered lubricant, a chipping hammer (105), a stir valve (106), a powder valve (108) which manages the flow of lubricant, a spray valve (110), interconnected with an air inlet (102), administers the lubricant with precision., controlled by a stopper (112). The sensor (114) diligently monitors essential parameters and a hot metal detector provides feedback. The control unit regulates the lubrication operation, ensuring optimal performance and lubrication consistency. The system (100) offers precise powdered lubrication, integrating seamlessly into manufacturing processes for enhanced efficiency which empowers operators, enabling real-time monitoring and adjustment, thus increasing flexibility and efficiency."
