MUMBAI, India, Nov. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202547097404 A) filed by Signify Holding B. V., Eindhoven, Netherlands, on Oct. 9, for 'a system comprising a lighting device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A system (100) is disclosed, comprising a component (10, 20) and a lighting device comprising a housing (30). A surface of the housing (30) comprises at least one first mounting portion (31), and an outer surface of the component (10) comprises at least one second mounting portion (11, 21). The at least one first mounting portion (31) comprises a first plurality of engaging elements (40) monolithically integrated in or on the housing (30) and projecting therefrom, and/or the at least one second mounting portion (11, 21) comprises a second plurality of engaging elements (50) monolithically integrated in or on the component (10), projecting therefrom. By means of the first plurality of engaging elements (40) and/or the at least one second mounting portion (11, 21), the component (10) can be detachably mounted in or on the housing (30)."
