MUMBAI, India, Jan. 23 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641001297 A) filed by Dr Lakshmi P; Dr. James Thomas; Professor Lavanya C; and Mr. Raghu C, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Jan. 6, for 'a system and method to ai-driven organizational resource planning and workflow optimization.'

Inventor(s) include Dr Lakshmi P; Dr. James Thomas; Professor Lavanya C; and Mr. Raghu C.

The application for the patent was published on Jan. 23, under issue no. 04/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A System and method to AI-Driven Organizational Resource Planning and Workflow Optimization In this disclosure, we describe a system and method for AI-Automated Organization Resource Scheduling and Workflow Revolutionizing utilizing Hardware-Supported, Cognitive Adaptability & Real Time Decision-Making Frameworks, which makes use of a combination of components: Cognitive Digital Twin Module (to create dynamic profiles of human and machine behaviour & performance), NeuroAdaptive Constraint Resolution Engine (to interpret and solve workflow disputes via hierarchical dependencies) and Quantum Inspired Multi-Objective Optimization Module (for optimising allocation of tasks across many competing objectives). A Predictive Workforce Disruption Forecaster predicts workforce interruptions via IoT, environmental and past data, while Federated Data Security & Compliance Unit protects the underlying data used for model training through a decentralised, privacy preserving model training framework. An Autonomous Workflow Execution Orchestrator executes optimized schedules and Human-AI Collaborative Decision Interfaces allow efficient visualisation of decisions, determined by the user's cognitive load. The system allows for real-time adjustment of workflows, predictive planning and intelligent optimisation in a secure manner providing more advancement over traditional organisation resource planning systems which are based only on static rules."
