Inventor(s) include Dr. Wajid Saiyed; Dr. Urvi Rangrej; Dr. Farhin Saiyed; Dr. Zakiya Saiyed; Dr Anjum Qureshi; and Shagufta Hashmi.

The application for the patent was published on Feb. 13, under issue no. 07/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed is a device (100) for real-time posture monitoring and correction through haptic feedback comprising a plurality of lenses (104) and a plurality of sensors (106) integrated within a housing (102), a processing unit (110), an audio output unit (118), and a haptic output unit (120). The device (100) analyses, upon pre-processing, data related to head orientation relative to a body axis of a user, received by the plurality of sensors (106), in real-time, to classify posture of the user. The device further transmits one or more types of alert signals to an audio output unit (118) and a haptic output unit (120) in real-time, upon generation, based on the classified posture, deviating from a neutral posture. Furthermore, the device (100) delivers one or more audio messages and haptic feedback in real-time once the classified posture deviates from a neutral posture, assisting the user to resume a neutral posture."
