MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541133372 A) filed by Meenakshi Academy Of Higher Education And Research, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on Dec. 30, 2025, for 'a system and method for real-time health data collection and clinical decision support.'
Inventor(s) include Sakthivel M; Anitha Logaranjini; Jayabarathi B; and Pandiyan K. R.
The application for the patent was published on Jan. 9, under issue no. 02/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A System and Method for Real-Time Health Data Collection and Clinical Decision Support This disclosure presents a system and a method for collecting and using real-time health data to support clinical decisions. The system merges multiple forms of physiological, environmental, and behavioral sensors with a context-fusion engine that calculates a Dynamic Health Context Index (DHCI), which represents an individual's health state within context. A federated edge-learning module creates a privacy-presumed, adaptive on-device model trainer, and an explainable clinical reasoning engine utilizes causality graph logic to generate explainable medical inferences. The system provides a predictive simulation module that produces health outcomes using hybrid Transformer-LSTM algorithm. A compliance layer applies a blockchain-anchor to every inference, and to every update made to safeguard inference and update traceability. The proposed technology also encompasses an augmented-reality interface that presents real-time chronological DHCI, reasoning, graph representation, and prediction outcomes for clinician use. Altogether, this invention is a technical, context-aware, privacy-presumed, and augmented-reality-enabled framework for adaptive, explainable, real-time clinical decision support."
