MUMBAI, India, May 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641050596 A) filed by Meenakshi Academy Of Higher Education And Research, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on April 21, for 'a system and method for personalized treatment recommendation using predictive analytics and patient data.'

Inventor(s) include Suresh Babu K; Indhu C; Anandhi D; Dinesh Kumar R; Balamurugan N; Subbulakshmi Packirisamy; Gowthami Priyadharshini; Abhinaya B; Melba Jesurani A; and Subbulakshmi K.

The application for the patent was published on May 1, under issue no. 18/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A System and Method for Personalized Treatment Recommendation Using Predictive Analytics and Patient Data The current disclosure pertains to a system and method for generating and implementing personalized treatment recommendations through predictive analytics, physiological digital twin modeling, and real-time therapeutic response simulation. The system has a data acquisition unit that can take in multi-modal patient data, a data fusion unit that can process the data, and a physiological digital twin engine that can create a dynamic computational model of a patient. A therapeutic response simulation engine tests different intervention scenarios on the model to see what will happen and what risks are involved. An optimization module finds the best device-operational parameters, which are then checked by a safety module that uses rule-based limits and fail-safe mechanisms. A device control interface changes the validated parameters into control signals that can be used by connected devices. The system also has a feedback loop that keeps the digital twin up to date and fine-tunes the settings. The current disclosure offers enhanced precision, diminished risk, increased safety, and effective closed-loop treatment optimization."
