MUMBAI, India, Feb. 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621005806 A) filed by Enlite Research Private Limited, Thane, Maharashtra, on Jan. 20, for 'a system and method for orchestrating containerized services in a localized computing environment.'

Inventor(s) include Garima Bharadwaj; and Gaurav Bali.

The application for the patent was published on Feb. 27, under issue no. 09/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A system for orchestrating containerized services in a localized computing environment is disclosed. The system includes a processor and a memory storing instructions which, when executed, cause the processor to automatically self-commission to discover and register equipment points with an on-premises container orchestration platform via a controller. The processor retrieves, validates, versions, and mirrors container images and associated artifacts from a remote cloud repository. The processor deploys, updates, and rolls back the container images to instantiate containerized microservices. Updates are applied using canary or blue-green deployment and automatically rolled back in response to detected key performance indicator regressions. The processor executes the microservices to perform local control, analytics, and monitoring based on latency budgets, equipment affinity, and safety priorities, maintains autonomous operation during cloud connectivity loss using mirrored artifacts, and bi-directionally synchronizes telemetry, configuration parameters, and control state upon reconnection using versioned checkpoints with policy-based conflict resolution prioritizing safety rules."
