According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Present invention discloses a system (100) for lithotripsy used for removal 5 of kidney stones. The system (100) comprises an endoscope (101) with an imaging unit. An evaluation and determining unit (103) is coupled with the endoscope (101). The evaluation and determining unit (103) comprises an optical material composition detection unit (105) which is configured to determine and analyse characteristics of the kidney stone, a directed 10 energized laser source, which is configured to emit laser beam having controlled pulse width; and a suction conduit unit (111) coupled with the endoscope (101) to provide vacuum suction at a controlled flow rate. The system (100) for lithotripsy enables an easy, effective, and suitable removal of kidney stones without damaging its nearby tissue/ blood vessel."
