MUMBAI, India, Feb. 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641009496 A) filed by Pragati Engineering College, Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, on Jan. 30, for 'a system and method for intelligent data processing and decision support using machine learning algorithms.'

Inventor(s) include Mr. S. K. Sankar; Mrs. Sireesha Kavala; Pati Veera Surya Umanjani; Samantula Deepti Shalika; and Punnamaraju S L Akshaya.

The application for the patent was published on Feb. 13, under issue no. 07/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A System and Method for Intelligent Data Processing and Decision Support Using Machine Learning Algorithms The present disclosure relates to a system and method for intelligent data processing and decision support utilizing machine learning algorithms. The system collects data from different sources, synchronizes it over time, and finds features that are based on cause and effect by finding cause-effect relationships between data variables. One or more machine learning models are dynamically orchestrated and reconfigured in real time based on changes in the data, the stability of the cause, and the state of the computer. The system also makes decisions and gives them confidence metrics and machine-readable decision traces. Through a hardware interface, validated decisions are carried out as machine-actionable control signals that control both physical and digital systems. An independent feedback and learning system keeps an eye on what happens after an action is taken and changes the causal structures and learning parameters to keep performance reliable. The disclosed system and method offer a closed-loop, causality-aware, and adaptive decision support framework that enhances accuracy, decreases latency, increases reliability, and produces measurable technical effects, thus presenting a viable and industrially applicable solution for intelligent decision-making in dynamic settings."
