The application for the patent was published on Jan. 9, under issue no. 02/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to an integrated agricultural system combining a drip irrigation unit (10) and a fungicide delivery module (20) to control early blight in tomato cultivation. The drip system includes a primary water supply line with lateral lines (12) and micro-emitters (14) that deliver water directly to plant root zones, while the fungicide module comprises first and second reservoirs (20A and 20B) containing Mancozeb and Ziram, respectively, connected to spray nozzles (26) via controllable valves (24). A scheduling and control mechanism (30), interfaced with moisture sensors (32) and timers (34), synchronizes irrigation and alternating fungicide applications at 10-12 day intervals during the fruiting stage, thus optimizing water use and disease management."
