MUMBAI, India, April 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411071127 A) filed by Winzo Games Private Limited, New Delhi, on Sept. 20, 2024, for 'a system and method for grouping a plurality of users.'

Further, the system computes one or more compatibility matrices corresponding to one or more pair of users based on the received matchmaking requests. Additionally, the system identifies one or more game environments for grouping of the plurality of users. Moreover, the system groups the plurality of users using one or more group assignment techniques, based on the identified game environment and the computed compatibility matrix. This approach optimizes player grouping based on game type and compatibility, thereby maximizing player retention and engagement leading to a more successful and sustainable gaming experience."
