MUMBAI, India, May 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611051655 A) filed by Manipal University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, on April 23, for 'a system and method for developing sustainable organisational culture through adaptive coping-based intervention framework.'
Inventor(s) include Dr Gargi Sharma; Dr. Sony Kulshrestha; and Ms. Kanika Khanna.
The application for the patent was published on May 29, under issue no. 22/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a sustainable organisational culture through adaptive coping-based intervention. The system comprises a stressor identification module adapted to detect and classify workplace stressors such as workload, role ambiguity, interpersonal conflict, and organisational demands based on behavioural and organisational inputs. An adaptive coping module generates and implements coping strategies having problem-focused coping, cognitive restructuring, emotion regulation, and social support, based on real-time stress assessment. An organisational support module integrates these coping strategies into training programmes, leadership practices, and human resource policies to reinforce adaptive behaviour within the workplace. A feedback module monitors employee well-being indicators such as stress levels, engagement, absenteeism, and turnover, and continuously updates coping strategies for improved effectiveness. The system collectively embeds adaptive coping into organisational processes to reduce workplace stress, enhance employee resilience, improve engagement, minimise burnout and turnover, and thereby support the development and maintenance of a sustainable organisational culture."
