MUMBAI, India, Feb. 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511065611 A) filed by Green Evolve Private Limited, New Delhi, on July 9, 2025, for 'a system and method for cutting-off battery between battery control unit and iot devices.'
Inventor(s) include Gupta, Jayant.
The application for the patent was published on Feb. 6, under issue no. 06/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A system 100 to monitor error communication include a battery pack 102 supplying power to IoT devices 104; and a battery control unit 106 such that the battery pack 102 and the battery control unit 106 are in communication through one or more interfaces 110 to form a loop. The battery control unit 106 is configured to generate a heartbeat signal 116 to the battery pack 102 through the loop, and the system 100 cut-off the battery pack 102 from the loop in case the heartbeat signal 116 is failed to reach back to the battery control unit 106 through the loop defining detection of at least one critical operational condition responsible for system 100 failure. However, system 100 protect to cut-off the battery pack 102 from the loop, in case heartbeat signal 116 is absent due to cyber security threats, tempering, and poor communication network."
