Abstract: ABSTRACT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING AN ELECTRIC OIL PUMP The present disclosure provides an electric oil pump (1). The electric oil pump (1) includes a motor section (6), a magnetic means (2), a pump section (5), a controller 5 section (7), and at least one sensor (3). In addition, the at least one sensor (3) disposed on the controller (4) and in communication with the controller (4), to measure a speed data indicative of a change in speed of the electric oil pump (1) compared to a predetermined threshold when exposed to a magnetic field of a magnetic means (2). Further, upon receiving the speed data indicative of the change 10 in the speed of the electric oil pump (1) from the at least one sensor (3), the controller (4) is configured to control at least one parameter of the electric oil pump (1) to correct the speed of the electric oil pump (1) within the predetermined threshold.
