MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441021270 A) filed by Tvs Motor Company Limited, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on March 20, 2024, for 'a system and method for authentication of a vehicle.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates a system (200, 300) and method (400, 500) for authentication of a vehicle (10). The system (200, 300) comprises an authentication unit (202, 302) and a cluster board (204, 304). The authentication unit (202, 302) is disposed in the vehicle (10) and configured to receive a request for authentication. The cluster board (204, 304) is disposed in the vehicle (10) and configured to provide a challenge to the authentication unit (202, 302) to allow or reject the request for authentication. The authentication unit (202, 302) and the cluster board (204, 304) being communicatively coupled to each other and electrically isolated from each other."
