MUMBAI, India, April 17 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641043281 A) filed by Meenakshi Academy Of Higher Education And Research, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on April 4, for 'a system and method for ai-driven personalized treatment planning and outcome prediction.'

Inventor(s) include Logeswari J; Suresh Babu K; Aravind P; Chamundeeswari D; Ramnath V; Victor Devasirvadam; Fabiola M Dhanraj; Balamurugan N; Deepa Sundareswaran; and Subbulakshmi V.

The application for the patent was published on April 17, under issue no. 16/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A System and Method for AI-Driven Personalized Treatment Planning and Outcome Prediction The present disclosure relates to a system and method for facilitating AI-driven personalized treatment planning and outcome prediction through digital twin modeling, causal inference, and real-time biofeedback integration. The system has a data acquisition module that collects data from different sources about a patient, a data fusion engine that combines the data into one set, and a digital twin generation module that makes a changing virtual representation of the patient. A causal inference decision engine looks at how treatments affect each other, while an optimization engine based on artificial intelligence creates and improves treatment plans. The system also has a dynamic biofeedback adaptation mechanism that changes treatment plans based on real-time physiological data. A federated learning framework also allows for privacy-preserving distributed model training, and an explainable AI module gives understandable suggestions. An outcome prediction engine predicts clinical outcomes, which makes it possible for adaptive, predictive, and personalized healthcare decision support to be more accurate, reliable, and clinically efficient in a wide range of medical settings."
