MUMBAI, India, May 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641063584 A) filed by Meenakshi Academy Of Higher Education And Research, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on May 20, for 'a system and method for ai-based mental health monitoring and psychological assessment system.'
Inventor(s) include Ardhanaari M; Atibha V; Nikita Ravi; Sridevi Sangeetha; and Snehaa G.
The application for the patent was published on May 29, under issue no. 22/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to a system and method for AI-based mental health monitoring, psychological assessment, predictive emotional-state analysis and neuro-behavioral digital twin generation using multi-modal cognitive analytics. This system continuously collects interaction data such as behavioral, physiological, emotional, linguistic, contextual, and environmental data using wearable devices, sensing platforms, and digital communication interfaces. The collected data is processed by neuro-linguistic contextual analysis, psycho-physiological synchronization, cognitive drift propagation analytics, contextual memory reconstruction and adaptive emotional baseline recalibration mechanisms. The system constructs a neuro-behavioral digital twin that dynamically reflects personalized patterns of psychological evolution and future mental-state trajectories. Moreover, the system predicts the aggravation of depression, emergence of anxiety, accumulation of burnout, likelihood of panic-event and cognitive exhaustion through temporal psychological risk prediction models. The system also provides adaptive intervention recommendations and assessment outputs to aid clinicians while protecting sensitive psychological information through federated privacy-preserving learning and secure distributed behavioral intelligence management infrastructure."
